O’Rourke’s early profile is built around mobility and control. He gets to pucks quickly, can move away from pressure before making his first pass and has the feet to defend with an active gap. He does not need to force offence to impact the game because his transition value is already meaningful. The long-term ceiling will depend on how much more assertive he becomes as an offensive creator, but the current foundation looks highly translatable to a top-four role.
